One of the most common questions we get: how often should engine oil be changed? The exact answer depends on oil type, engine age, and daily driving habits.
By oil type
- Mineral oil: roughly every 4,000–5,000 km.
- Semi-synthetic: every 6,000–8,000 km.
- Full synthetic: every 10,000–15,000 km, per manufacturer guidance.
Factors that shorten the interval
Heavy loads, high heat, frequent short city trips, or unpaved roads all call for earlier changes than the standard schedule.
